Real Madrid Player Salaries 2017 (Contract Details Revealed)

Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League 2015-16 after strong finish to the season and going into the new campaign they did not spent crazy money for the first time in so many years. Even without any major signings, Real Madrid possess world’s most valuable squad with a total worth of around £666 million. To keep such a squad they have to spend huge sums on players weekly salaries and we take a look at each and every player’s contract including salaries and bonuses.

The richest club according to both Forbes and French sports money magazine deloitte, Real Madrid has been no.1 in the money table for several years now since overtaking Manchester United. They won the Champions League 2014 and 2016 titles which were 10th and 11th time in clubs history making them the most successful club not only in Spain but also in the world. So there on the field performances and off the pitch marketing success is largely down to their ever present star studded squads also known as Glacticos.

Real Madrid recently negotiated new deals for Ronaldo and Gareth Bale making them highest paid players in europe only Lionel Messi is on the same wage level as the two Madrid stars.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not only Madrid’s highest paid player but also worlds highest paid footballer earning a massive £365,000 a week which is after tax which means he cost around £700,000 a week to Real Madrid if we count the tax Real Madrid has to pay on his salary which is around 52% in Spain.

Gareth Bale also signed a financially improved contract which is set to keep him at the club till 2022. He will be paid around £150m over the next six year if he stays at the club with new deal.
