Griezmann To United?
The Independent claim Manchester United have ‘lessened in priority’ Griezmann’s transfer.
This is because of how complicated any deal for the France international would be.
And the report adds the Red Devils are now considering moves for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski as alternatives to Griezmann.
Griezmann has been Jose Mourinho’s No 1 summer transfer target.
The Portuguese boss is prepared to trigger the 25-year-old's £86million release clause
But Atletico are unwilling to sell their star player, and Mourinho is apparently doubtful over a potential switch.
Instead Mbappe and Lewandowski have emerged as potential summer recruits.
Monaco’s Mbappe has become one of the hottest young prospect in Europe this season.
Neymar to United?
Neymar has scored 99 goals in 172 appearances for Barcelona since making his debut for the Catalan giants back in 2013 but the 25-year-old has been heavily linked with the Red Devils in recent weeks.
Reports suggest United are prepared to meet the Brazilian’s mammoth £173million release clause but Jose Mourinho has played down their chances of landing the Barca superstar.
Speaking to ESPN Brasil, Mourinho explained: ‘I always try to be objective and pragmatic with the clubs and ask the clubs for what can be given to me.
‘Neymar is absurd. A club like Barcelona cannot and will not lose Neymar.
‘Although [Lionel] Messi is still a young player with years to go – he is still playing well at the age of 30 – but Neymar will be Barcelona’s great player after Messi.
‘We will not break into the vault. I think it is impossible.’
Paulo Dybala to United?
Manchester United have entered the race to sign Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala, according to reports.
Dybala has scored 27 goals in 60 appearances for Juve since making his debut for the Serie A giants back in 2015 but the 23-year-old has been consistently linked with a move to the Premier League.
The Sun suggest Jose Mourinho is ready to go head-to-head with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in the battle to land the Argentinian striker.
Mourinho is searching for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long-term successor at Old Trafford but Dybala’s signature will not come cheap.
It’s understood Juventus value the highly-rated forward at around £50m so the Portuguese boss must be prepared to splash the cash in order to land his target.
Dybala recently admitted that he’s missing Paul Pogba since the midfielder’s move to United, telling Corriere dello Sport: ‘I’m still talking to Pogba.
‘We are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room.’
So if Mourinho can make these deals ON, we can see Manchester United as a Pheonix bird which comes out from a drought Ashes.
